Thank you for signing up to support one or more CELT presenters who have taken the time to prepare and share their knowledge and experiences.
Your responsibilities as a moderator are the following:
1. Enter the session 5 minutes before the session is scheduled to begin.
2. Introduce the title of the session and the speaker. (You can include information from the speaker's bio, if you'd like. Bios are linked to the schedule.).
3. Keep an eye on the session CHAT for questions participants may have.
4. Watch the moderation panel for attendees who are requesting to share audio and video. You will click on their names to permit them to ask a question or make a comment. You can remove these attendee speakers from the screen by clicking the Remove red circle icon.
NOTE: Encourage attendees to have their SESSION --> CHAT open, so they can "talk" during the session. If the presenter wants to post a question in the chat, see if you can "pin" the question so it doesn't scroll off the screen. (See image below.)

5. Be there in case the presenter has a question for you. Although the speaker cannot have a private chat with you in the session, you can have a 1:1 Hopin mail exchange during the session. How?
The People tab (to the right of Polls and Chat in Sessions) lists all participants that have joined the event. You can send a direct message to any participant by clicking on their name – writing in the message – hit send arrow. Note, during the event, the list of attendees will be long – you can also Search a name to more easily find it.

6. In the last 2 minutes of the session, please put the link to the Presentation Evaluation Form link in the session chat for participants to provide feedback. Please remind the participants that the feedback will be for the presentation they had just taken part in.
* In the event that you are having an emergency 5 min before/during your session/stage segment (i.e. you lost the link to your YouTube video, cannot enable YouTube sharing), please find the CELT admin among people on the list:
Click on the CELT admin icon and you will be able to type a message to Anya or Dana or have a video call.
